Bakery: I made a trip Monday to place an order in person for a birthday cake for Thursday pickup. The cake was for my fiance and my joint 35th birthday party. My fiance went today to pick it up and they had no clue about my order whatsoever. After talking him in circles, he lets me know they “can’t find” my order. I proceed to call them to sort it out. They asked me the same 5 questions over and over again, not placing me on hold so I could hear everything they were saying. Finally, after ten minutes of being asked about my cake on loop, I said I had gathered they didn’t have my cake, wondering what was next. She then refused to even apologize and thought that it would take me speaking to a manager to hear an apology or any empathy at all for our situation. She couldn’t have cared less about the situation and told the manager so since I COULD HEAR EVERY WORD BECAUSE SHE DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO PUT SOMEONE ON HOLD. Seems clueless as to why this might be an issue, was rude when I needed the opposite in that moment. Just get a cake elsewhere, at least if they forget your order, they’ll be more likely to apologize.

Went to grab some items, scanned them, and realized I went over my budget. When I tell the guy at checkout that I rather redo my order instead constantly canceling over and over, he just ignored my statement and forced me to cancel items. I get working retail can be annoying and all, but if I tell you that I just want to start over, let me do that. It's not like I was forcing him to put everything back simultaneously. What a headache inducing trip. 🫩🫩🫩 I won't be back.

Much better than most Walmarts. More organized and Greeters here actually Greet you. Not look at u like they're upset u came bc now they have to open their mouths and SPEAK. Roseville's location is littered w/nothing but Eastside Detroit customers bc Walmart refuses to add a location there, and Roseville police precense is needed ALL day for random retail frauders etc, and half the makeup/skin care is locked up so I have to wait for someone who has a key to show up to open it up/check me out separately bc I cant walk away without immediately paying(it's that bad). Sorry but Birmingham is a totally different atmosphere...more relaxed and trusting. Fraud is everywhere, but this location has far less, according to the lowered security etc. I will return whenever in this area! Just more pleasant....

Today I visited this Walmart to return an item. While the return process itself was fine, the employee’s language and attitude were completely unacceptable. When I instinctively reached to take my receipt, the employee raised her voice and shouted “what are you doing!” at me. This wording and tone were inappropriate, aggressive, and unnecessary for such a minor situation. The way she spoke to me directly affected my mood and ruined my feeling the whole day! Employees should not speak to customers in this manner under any circumstances. This is not respectful or professional customer service. I hope management takes this behavior seriously and ensures staff are trained to communicate politely and respectfully with customers.

Went in today to find a button down. I went and asked for help as I’ve never been at this location. The lady said they didn’t have any buttons downs. I was trying to ask if they had polo button downs but during my question she got a phone call and walked away from me.
